Rodrigo Gil is a founding partner of Jana & Gil Dispute Resolution.

He is a professor of contract law and an expert in contractual disputes with more than 20 years of experience in dispute resolution under international commercial arbitration rules (ICC, UNCITRAL, SCC, AAA, CAM Santiago), ad-hoc arbitration, and domestic arbitration (Chile).

He has extensive experience as lead counsel in numerous investment disputes under ICSID rules, defending both investors and States. He is permanent counsel in complex cross-border disputes and transnational litigation.

Rodrigo is an expert in large-scale construction disputes (bridges, airports, power plants, mining infrastructure, highways, among others) and regularly advises domestic and foreign clients in disputes involving energy, mining, construction, infrastructure projects and telecommunications, among others.

In addition to his intense litigation practice, Rodrigo also regularly acts as an arbitrator. He is an expert in civil law matters. He also participates in antitrust disputes, complex civil disputes and litigation in support of arbitration.

Finally, Rodrigo has a strong commitment to pro bono litigation in public interest cases, in which he intervenes to allow better access to justice.
