We have recognized experience in public international law matters.
We have advised states and international organizations on boundary disputes, state immunities from jurisdiction and execution, war damages and use of force.
Andrés Jana has also advised the State of Chile in the negotiation of the investment chapters of several of its free trade agreements (FTAs), including the FTA with the United States and the European Union.
Before the International Court of Justice (ICJ), we have been part of Chile's defense in the maritime dispute with Peru. We also participated in the defense of Chile in the lawsuit filed by Bolivia for an alleged obligation to negotiate a sovereign outlet to the Pacific Ocean and, currently, we are part of the Chilean team in the case of the waters of the Silala River against Bolivia.
