En Jana & Gil estamos muy felices de compartir con ustedes que nuestro equipo sigue consolidando su crecimiento con el nombramiento de una nueva socia y un nuevo socio. Hablamos de Tomás Bown y Victoria Demarchi, dos profesionales que han sido un aporte invaluable para nuestra oficina.

Victoria Demarchi, es abogada de la Universidad de Chile y LL.M en la Columbia Law School, Nueva York (Fulbright Scholarship y Becas Chile). Victoria es especialista en arbitrajes domésticos e internacionales, tanto comerciales como de inversión, con especial énfasis en las áreas de energía y recursos naturales, construcción, transporte y seguros. Es profesora de Derecho Civil de la Universidad de Chile e integra la nómina de Árbitros Jóvenes del CAM Santiago.

Tomás Bown, es abogado de la Universidad de los Andes y LL.M de la U.C. Berkeley School of Law. Su práctica se centra en la resolución de juicios civiles y comerciales complejos, conflictos entre accionistas, procesos de insolvencia y reorganización de empresas, y juicios de los sectores de construcción y minería, entre otros. Asesora además, en casos ante CAM Santiago, y tribunales ad-hoc, nacionales e internacionales.

Victoria is a lawyer from the University of Chile and LL.M at Columbia Law School, New York (Fulbright and Chilean Government Scholarships). Victoria is a specialist in domestic and international arbitration, both commercial and investment arbitration with special emphasis in the areas of energy and natural resources, construction, transportation, and insurance. She is a professor of Civil Law at the University of Chile and is a member of the list of Young Arbitrators of CAM Santiago.

Tomás Bown is a lawyer from the Universidad de los Andes and an LL.M. from the U.C. Berkeley School of Law. His practice focuses on the resolution of complex civil and commercial litigation, shareholder disputes, insolvency and corporate reorganization proceedings, and litigation in the construction and mining sectors, among others. He also advises on cases before CAM Santiago, and ad-hoc, national and international courts.
