On June 16, a high-level international delegation — including Andrés Jana, Chair of UNCITRAL Working Group II, M. Utku Coşar, Vice President of the LCIA, and Joanne Lau, Secretary-General of the HKIAC — visited the physical platform of the International Commercial Arbitration Center (ICAC Beijing).

The meeting, hosted by Cui Yang, Director of the Beijing Municipal Bureau of Justice, showcased the center’s progress in building a one-stop dispute resolution platform that integrates arbitration, mediation, litigation, notarization, and other legal services.

Andrés Jana commended the center’s innovative model and recognized the Beijing Arbitration Commission (BAC) for its long-standing engagement as an observer in UNCITRAL Working Group II proceedings — actively contributing perspectives and solutions to the development of international rules on expedited arbitration and electronic awards.
